Dressing Up Your Windows

How you dress up your windows says a lot about the look of your home. Whether you choose the look to be fun, classy, clean, or dramatic, it can be what ties the whole room together. There are many decorating shows that teach us how to be more stylish and creative with our home accents. I am sure by now most of us have been inspired to make some type of change to our home. If you get this contagious itch, have fun with it and let your true colors come out. No matter what your style is there is a window treatment you don’t want to overlook. It will bring sophistication and purpose to your room and it will match anything you have hanging from your windows. I am speaking of clear window film. It will cut back the obnoxious glare from the sun so that you can actually enjoy looking at your newly decorated windows. It gives your room purpose by still letting in the sunlight just minus the headache and heat that would probably make you want to leave the room. Remember you will get the most satisfaction out of a room you actually spend time in.

Relieve Claustrophia with Window Film

The sun’s light boasting in through the windows can cause for great frustration as we try to complete daily tasks. Sure we can close the blinds and seclude ourselves from the rest of the world but how refreshing is it to pull those blinds all the way to the top, push those curtains aside and invite the world into our homes and offices. It just lifts the spirit! We can do this with window film! No more glare or blinding lights. We can have the best of both worlds! Investing in window film can make your home or office beautiful from the inside out. No more feelings of being claustrophobic! Hello world!.

Window tinting 2010

Another year is almost over. Another year of challenges, victories, surprises and learning.

Window films are constantly evolving, with new products and suppliers entering the market.

This year has once again shown some of our competitors trying to cut costs by using cheaper films. We are quickly approaching the quality sold on Trade Me (NZ equivalent of e-bay) sold by “professionals”. Very quickly, these films will break down and neither the customer nor the installer will be happy.

Although we have introduced a “budget” line of films, we are using more and more of the top quality Huper Optik ceramic window films. Cost is secondary, if the product is vastly superior to the rest of the market.

Huper Optik was applied at Kelly Tarlton, Mansion House on Kawau Island, MOTAT, the private residence of Lucy Lawless, Hawkes Bay Hospital, the Rendezvous Hotel in Auckland and literally hundreds of applications on private homes, cars and businesses.

Just yesterday I installed Ceramic 20 to a boat on the North Shore, where glare was a problem. Huper Optik is the only film giving you a 10-year warranty in a marine situation. Traditional films will corrode in a short time.

Earlier in the year we had a member of the Green Building Council from New York speak to the delegates at the Sustainable Buildings Conference in Wellington, promoting Huper Optik as a very cost effective solution to reduce a building’s energy consumption, with a remarkably fast ROI.

I went to a Huper Optik global conference in Shanghai, where I met with the top management and developers. I had the opportunity to learn from leading county distributors from the US, China, Singapore, the Phillipines, Korea , Indonesia, Malaysia and many others.

New films were introduced, with performance almost unbelievable.

Life is good!

Happy 2011!!!!
